Plastering perfection
No more mouse holes… as I like to call the holes in the ceiling – thanks to Pete you can’t even see they were there… apart from our poor painting so far.
Ahh yes the mice – we have plenty of field mice that have moved into the attic for the winter – I just wish they would stay in the attic rather than coming down to join us – the joys of countryside living!
The holes in the ceiling were where the original kitchen wall was, so yes that tiny space to the right used to be the kitchen.
The chimney breast is also wind proof now, ie boarded and plastered but we have stuff piled up in front of it so no picture at the moment. It’s fun living on a building site, but now the holes are filled and perfectly plastered it’s a much nicer, cleaner, warmer room.
