Flying the nest
Our swallow chicks have flown the nest… but just before they left we got some footage of them squishing their nest and flapping around.
Mum and dad are still around and happily living in the outhouse, but babies have gone to find their own way.
If the parents come back again next year they’ll definitely have to build a new nest as this one has been well and truly squashed by the chicks squabbling over who gets to sleep in it!
It’s been great having them live with us.
