Jumping pheasant
Now this one was a first for us… our friendly pheasant has discovered our bird feeder and it turns out he loves it – easy pickings if you can jump!
I still can’t believe how close he comes to the house, if we leant out of the window we could almost touch him.
He’s often wandered around, had a little dust bath, but this was the first time we’d seen him jump up to knock food out of the bird feeder!
He spent quite a lot of time doing this and making sure he didn’t miss a single seed on the ground.
